There are numerous neighborhoods in the City of Syracuse. The Bradford Hills and Scottholm areas are very popular with people who require easy access to the medical centers and Syracuse University. The styles of homes range from majestic Tudors for around $200,000 to smaller Capes, Ranches and Colonials for $70,000 upwards.
Another area where one can find lovely old homes in the $150,000 to $250,000 price range is Sedgwick and along James Street, both of which are considered the north side of the City of Syracuse.
Northeast, but still within Syracuse city limits is Eastwood. The homes here range from around $65,000 to $100,000. Many of the Eastwood streets are tree-lined boulevards with grassy center meridians. There is a park within this neighborhood and in the village of Eastwood are all kinds of shops and an old movie theatre, The Palace, that features art films.
On the west side of the city there is a district called Strathmore that offers tree lined boulevards and lovely older homes in the Colonial or Tudor styles, ranging in price from $85,000 to $150,000.
This is a scene of the Braford Hills area, close to Syrcuse University. This area features avenues with established trees and homes of unique character, including Tudor, cCntemporary, Colonials, Ranches and Greek Revival styles. The neighborhod is quiet and very pretty.
