Jamesville-Dewitt Schools draw pupils from the towns of Jamesville and Dewitt and the surrounding area. The high school curriculum includes French, Spanish and Latin, as well as some Advanced Placement and College Credit courses, and a few Fine Arts electives including an award-winning art curriculum. Syracuse University Project Advanced offers English and Psychology at the high school. And the high school has an honors integrated English and Social Studies curriculum.
J-D fields some strong athletic teams. Their indoor track, swimming and diving, and gymnastics teams have been to state competitions. Other extra-curriculars include Adopt-A-Grandparent and African American Club.
